NBC's "Today Show", on 17-Sep-2004, as a follow up to the newly FDA approved "over the market" defibrillator, ran a pretty decent piece. Prominently featured was NYC-EMS/FDNY physician Dr. Glen Asaeda.

I've made copies of the broadcast and put them on the webserver.

The videos are in Apple "QuickTime" format, using various compressions. The smallest video is 3 megs and will take about 8 minutes to download; the middle quality is about 6 meg and will take about 15 minutes, a pretty large one is about 20 megs and will take an hour, and the largest is nearly 30 megs and will take about a loooong time.

(Of course, on a high speed connection, things will go much faster, so even the big ones should be ok)

To view the video, you may need a copy of the QuickTime viewer. It's available as a free download which from Apple, for Macs and other operating systems, by clicking: here

(I found two points of his of some interest. First, alas, was his repeat of the AHA's overly simplified claim of a national 5pct cardiac arrest survival rate. The other was when he said these can be used by fifth graders. So I guess even firefighters can IOTU^&#$%^%^& ot8679rf d
